To Allah we belong, and to Him we shall return
The heartbreaking tragedy of the martyrdom and passing of a number of the oppressed and defenseless people of the Islamic homeland, as well as several serving commanders and officials—most notably the honorable scholar, and devoted lover of the Ahl al-Bayt (Peace be upon them), Dr. Ali Larijani—prompts us to offer our condolences to their respected families and to all who mourn their loss.
We beseech Almighty God to bestow His forgiveness and divine mercy upon these beloved individuals, and to grant the bereaved families patient fortitude and abundant reward.

Dr. Ali Larijani, a prominent Iranian politician and former Speaker of the Parliament, was martyred in a terrorist attack that has drawn widespread condemnation and mourning across the nation. Known for his academic credentials and long record of service in key positions—including Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council and head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB)—Larijani was regarded as a pillar of the country’s political and strategic establishment.
Grand Ayatollah Shobeiri Zanjani, one of the most senior Shia jurists in the holy city of Qom, emphasized the late official’s deep connection to the Ahl al-Bayt (the household of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon them) and his upbringing in a family renowned for its scholarly contributions.
The message added that the martyrdom of these servants of the nation serves as yet another reminder of the sacrifices made by the Iranian people and their leadership in the face of ongoing threats and hostilities targeting the country.
Religious authorities, political figures, and citizens across the country have continued to pay tribute to the martyrs, reaffirming their commitment to the principles of the Islamic Revolution and the path of resistance.
